Its hard to imagine William Shatner turns 84 on March 22.  His acting career has been active for more than 7 decades, moving from writing, directing and stage performances.  Shatner reached stardom, literally and figuratively, as Captain James Tiberius Kirk from the starship USS Enterprise.  When “Star Trek” first went to air in 1966, the show’s future was uncertain.  Nobody could have predicted the books, movies and countless spin-offs that would come.  Shatner grew up in Montreal, and went to McGill University.  Have a listen, as he recalls his McGill days.  WilliamShattnergrowingup
