Lady Antebellum’s monster crossover hit, “Need You Now,” was released a decade ago on Sunday, August 11th.

The group tweeted about the milestone,

The song earned the trio several awards, including Grammys, ACMs and CMAs, and Charles Kelley said it was simply a “career song.”

“The response from the get-go was so big. It’s been a career song for us for sure. We thought ‘I Run to You’ was our career song, but honestly, after ‘Need You Now’ came out and to see what it’s done for us, it’s been really, really, really, really huge for our career, and we’re just really proud of it.”

In other Lady A news, they’ve released a second track called “Pictures” from their upcoming album, due out later this year.

The song follows their current Top 25 and climbing single “What If I Never Get Over You.”

Charles, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott were among the co-writers on “Pictures.” Hillary said,

“We live in a world right now, especially with social media, where everyone’s lives can look happy and pretty. We wrote this song to reflect on the reality that things are more complex than that. As good as something might look in brief moments, there are so many layers to who people really are and what’s really going on. I love the juxtaposition of how this song’s lyrics dig in while feeling laid-back and groovy.”
