Deric moved to Nashville twenty five years ago to pursue a career in Country music.  It has worked out well because he has gone on to be an accomplished performer and songwriter.

In addition to winning the CCMA Songwriter of the Year in 2007, and again in 2014, he has several nominations to his credit.

Blake Shelton’s, “Mine Would be You”, and “Came Here to Forget”, Dierks Bentley’s number one hit, “What Was I Thinkin” and Aaron Pritchett’s, “My Way”, the most played Canadian Country song of 2004, are all songs written or co-written by Deric.

Join me next Saturday, April 6 at 9:20, for more with Deric Ruttan!
