The group was formed in 1984 by Nashville record producer Tim DuBois.  He was a Chartered Accountant with an interest in Country Music.  He wrote over 20 singles including, “Love in the First Degree”, “The Bluest Eyes in Texas”, and “She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft)”, each of these became number one hits,

The group he formed was intended to record songs to produce demo records.  The five guys he put together developed great chemistry, and set out on their own.  The called themselves, “Restless Heart”, and have since released seven studio albums, and achieved six number one hits on the Country Charts and reached number one on the Adult Contemporary Chart with, “Tell Me What You Dream”.
