His Mom played piano and his Dad played guitar and both of his parents tried to influence Moe to play music.

During his teens he was more interested in Rodeos, and he with his brother Mike, competed all over Texas.   In 2007 Moe and Mike, a six time NFR bull riding qualifier, were inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Moe’s interest in music began to take shape in his twenties.  He worked as a sheet metal worker by day, and fronted his band, Moe and the Mavericks at night.

Moe Bandy went on to chart several singles, some as a solo act, and some with various singing partners.

Join me next Saturday, July 21 at 9:20, for more with Moe Bandy!
