Pure Prairie League first formed in 1965, and through various organizations, and personnel changes, continues to tour and entertain.
“Amie” and “Let Me Love You Tonight” are two of the bands most memorable songs, with Vince Gill handling lead vocal on both. Vince has since established himself with a solo Country Music career.
The Norman Rockwell image of a trail-worn cowboy named “Luke”, appeared on all of their recordings and became forever associated with Pure Prairie League.
