The history of the group Alabama can be traced back more than four decades. They played at the Canyonland theme park as back up musicians for the park’s big name acts.  They called themselves “Wildcountry”. They shared a $56.00 a month apartment, took gigs where they could, to try to stay afloat.

Looking back, it must seem like a different world. They now have 30 number one songs and sales over 75 million records.

Join me next Saturday, February 4 at 9:20 for more with Alabama.

Saturday mornings with Jeff Norgate…only on CKNX!
